Who are we?: Stephen originally trained as an architect, but left the profession to concentrate on art and craftwork. His small but successful gallery in Oxford attracted interest from Europe and America, as well as the UK. His artwork has been shown in a number of solo and group exhibitions, accepted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, and is represented in collections worldwide. Although he still works in print making, Stephen is currently concentrating on photography, which allows him to experiment with light and shade, line and colour, inspired by both the natural and man-made environment. He was awarded a Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS) in July 2007.
Linda has been a keen photographer from a young age. Digital photography has opened up new directions, allowing her to develop and expand her interest and exploit her natural talent for eye-catching compositions using form, pattern and colour. She combines photography with her love of plants, travel and long distance walking, all of which provide the inspiration for her images, including many of the striking abstracts available on this site. Linda was awarded a Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS) in July 2007. Linda won first prize in the abstract category of the International Color Awards 2007 Photography Masters Cup. Selected by a distinguished jury of respected professionals in art and photography, including representatives from National Geographic, Getty Images, Phaidon Publishing, The Financial Times, Fine Art Society, Vogue and Kodak, her winning entry was one of 15,000 photos submitted by entrants from 69 countries.

Materials: The paper used for all the prints from the Oxford Studio is 225 gms per sq m Somerset Satin made at St Cuthbert's Mill, Somerset, England. It is made from 100% cotton rag and is of archival quality.
Mount boards and backing sheets are archival grade.
Canvas prints are best quality cotton and supplied ready stretched, with plain edges. The canvas has two protective coats of varnish containing a UV-light block applied after printing.
We use pigmented archival ink which is fade free for at least 75 years in normal lighting conditions.

Edition sizes: The Oxford Studio certifies that the prints as described on this site are part of a limited edition of 100. No more than this limited edition will be sold by the Oxford Studio. Each edition has up to five proof prints which will not be sold by the artist. These artist's proofs may be gifted, however, and subsequently sold by others. There will be no restrikes or reissues of this work. Each image will be accompanied with a receipt, signed by the photographer, guaranteeing its provenance.
Greetings cards are open editions and unsigned.

Order and pay securely on-line: If paying by card, this can be done online using the secure server administered by PayPal. Payment is also accepted by debit or credit card, cheque (drawn on a UK bank), bank transfer and cash when purchasing at shows and exhibitions (GBP only please). Please do not send cash through the post.

Despatch/delivery: Normally, we aim to send paper prints by recorded delivery within five working days of clearance of payment unless otherwise notified on receipt of order. Canvases take longer to prepare, and will be sent within eight working days. During the month of May, however, we will be at the Chelsea Flower Show and orders will take longer to fulfill: you should allow two weeks for prints and three weeks for canvases, although we hope to send out orders well before those times.

Refunds or replacements: If the order arrives damaged or is wrong, please contact us as soon as possible. We will then accept its return by recorded delivery, and either give you a refund or a replacement, as you choose, and cover your postal costs. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us by letter or email within ten days of receipt that you intend to return it. We will then issue a returns authorisation number. Returns without an authorisation number will not be accepted. The order must then be returned to us in original condition and at your expense. The Oxford Studio will then refund the original purchase price in full. Refunds will usually be made in the manner of the original payment.
